Arab Americans (English)

Arab Americans are individuals living in the United States who have origins from the Middle East and North Africa. Approximately 1.6 million reside in the U.S. today, according to the 2014 Census, and they are among the fastest growing population groups. Arab Americans are impacting the fields of science, government, the military, sports, entertainment, and even the culinary scene. This Arab American collection offers great resources for marking celebrations in the Arab-American community, such as Ramadan and Eid. For posts in NEA, AF, and worldwide, there can be special pride in programs recognizing the contributions of these Americans, past and present.
